About 3 euros.

We (i.e. the new intern, at the moment) go shopping every day and then make our own sandwiches.

On Fridays we occasionally have something more fancy, like fish, croquette or hamburger, which usually adds another 2-3 euros.

I wouldn't spend over 3 euros and usually less than that.

I've been doing student teaching and substituting at the high school level and as tempting as it is to shoot the bull with students, it would be a huge mistake (especially early on in the year) since it gives them ideas that you aren't serious about your job. If they perceive a teacher that way, they'll take advantage of him/her. I have to be serious. Teachers

Me not being a teacher (except for how to build sandcastles)

Sometimes I can blow $20 at a more fancy place for a birthday or going-away party , but that's just a few times a year.

$0.30 or so cents worth of rice and beans, daily. Food is fuel, not a hobby.

Just had a grilled swiss cheese sandwich. Two slices of wheat bread, a slice and a quarter of Oregon's best Tillamook Swiss, excellent stuff, and two pads of butter.

I don't know what that came to...maybe 60 cents if that.

It depends on the day but Subway offers foot long subs for $5 (2.5 pounds), you can get some good Vietnamese (Bahn Mi or Phu) for the same price, and a burrito is around $3.95.

I don't use a card. I hate the paper trail. Just look at your statement some month. I get out "X" amount of cash each week, and I like the look of the records a lot better. Nothing.
