Yeah I like her too, but Obama is going to get the black and soccer mom trendy female vote and doesn't Condi bring some very negative baggage from the Bush admin that McCain will want to distance himself from?

I think Condi would be a misguided choice. I expect a young, vigorous party-line moderate governor to get the nod. But the insightful choice (had they not, to mix metaphors, burned the bridge by throwing him under the bus) would be Colin Powell.

I do have to get my eyes checked though, thanks for the insider tip on the 'E', wink wink, nudge nudge.

I thought Condi went on record today or yesterday and said she had no interest in the position.

They are testing her out, she is like a weather test balloon right now, to see if people like her and hot hot they do. She just said she'd rather teach at Stanford than be VP right now. I bet in three months she will realize being VP of the United States > Provost of Stanford, which is essentially a hot barn with smart preppies instead of goats.

Who would want to join an obviously doomed ticket?

Condi's no politician. McCain does need help shoring up the conservative base which has never really taken a liking to him.

I would pay money to see Coulter on a presidential ticket. Any ticket. (++ points if her running mate is Rush Limbaugh.)

While we're at it, Obama could take Michael Moore as a running mate.
