I agree that there would be no scientific 'proof', as that requires repeatibilitiy/etc. Which obviously isn't necessary, and the data would be thrown out. This would just be an example of Science failing to describe the truth, which is possible. It is even possible (I think even likely) that we won't be able to model/probe everything that exists within this universe. That doesn't mean that things didn't exist (for example, 200 years ago nucleons couldn't be probed or modeled, it didn't mean that they didn't exist). There is nothing that guaruntees that everything in the universe can be probed and modeled. Jon Miller *Replace with flying noodle monster as your personal inclination warrants. |

I can use 'noon chucks'. No clue how it's actually spelled. When I was in the army, 17 years old, I first learned how from some friends. Used them as an exercise device and to impress friends for 20 years after that. Haven't picked up a pair in a while, but will soon as I get back to Oregon. My shoulder is screwed up and I have to work it.

Hey Blake, I just figured out what the sound of one hand clapping is--it's you getting smacked upside the head! |

I can conceive of no proof of God's actions, that cannot be explained equally well by technology which is beyond my imagination (or even within it, in some cases), or by delusion :P. It's certainly possible that God does go around, and, in a fit of divine boredom, goes to some poor sap and says "Hey! I'm God and I exist". But there are other explanations which also work, like poor sap has a mental illness or is on drugs or is a liar... Maybe God does exist (and is really bored), but it's nothing to get up in arms over, because it's not for sure. |

I wish my tendons will stay that flexible by the time I have a teenage daughter. Using nail clippers made me lose a lot of bendiness. |
