I saw this the other day. Absolutely incredible. When the guy kicked it and it managed to stay standing my jaw dropped.

As it is now, sure it wouldn't...

The goal was to make it walk and stand as best as possible, not to see if it last on mars atmosphere.

Spec. You'd probably need several RTGs to back up those solar panels. The mars rovers move very very slowly because of their meager solar power production. I'm sure this form of locomotion would be even less efficient and require even slower movement.

cool as all hell though. Probably intended for combat environments.
