I like necropolis the best. I usually chose Vladimir as my hero, and make extensive use of Raise Dead spell, so I rarely loose any troops in combat. I got quite good in last weeks. I've been playing the campaign and am about to start the daunting fifth scenario in the Sylvan campaign - where you are supposedly up against armies of six thousand skeletons.

I think all the parts (but I, which I only played once with my cousin and I hardly remember it) are good. III is the one I really started playing, and is probably overall the best. IV was very, very good as well, and the game more complicated. V is nice, but the maps are too small (I think the games overall evolve from poor graphics on good maps to nice graphics on small maps), and many good features of IV didn't made it to V. II I see as a poorer-graphics version of III.
