Maglev can only be passenger rail. Maybe this is the same guys finally trying to actually build their high speed rail from LA to Vegas just in steps instead of all at once.

We'll see if they build it. The last people who said they'd build maglev in LA never got off the ground.

Being from the country and having gone to endless movies where the innocents are abused in various forms on the subway, isn't this just another multi billion dollar way to meet your local bangers and get whatevered in nasty ways? In the flicks bangers always travel in groups and are armed, while we good guys always travel with a vulnerable woman who bond with our attackers because we try to make it so both of us survive instead of trouncing the multitude all in a manly way. So we get the crap beat out of us or worse while our women go off to become banger babes.

I'm against the maglev because I love my woman.

What is that anyway? Magnetic levitation? They've had that at Disneyland since the '60s, but really the concept is just so '70s and that was before bangers btw.

I vote no.

They've had that at Disneyland since the '60s... I think you're thinking of Dizzyland's monorail. It runs on wheels. It's not levitated.
