I'd like to point out that while all these recalled toys and other were manufactured in China, Mattel was the designer and outsourced the manufacturing.
While China does suck, Mattel and any other "designer" needs to cowboy up and take their HUGE share of the responsibility and accountability.

DD, I don't know, maybe, but I was referring to what Sloww was talking about. These baby cribs that were malfunctioning and dangerous, it was a design issue. The Chinese did a fine job producing the product, but the original design was not sufficient enough and that was done by Mattel or some other company, I think it was Mattel.
