Animals sometimes show compassion for the dying - for example elephants within their own herd. Some dogs have to be removed from the bedside of ill loved ones before emergency personel can help them (happened with my mother and her borzois). If the cat has decided it's job is to be with those who are near dying - well then that's just what the cat is going to do. Having modified the behavior of the first pet therapy cat in our area (my wife's pet - as I consider cats animals and have no illusions about them - I did the behavior mod, she was the handler) I understand cats and their inherit, well, mrrowdom.

Death cat is in your hospitals stealing your souls! I think it goes like this:
"I'm on ur sheetz steeling ur soulz!" ![]() Btw the article would read pretty funny with every instance of Oscar replaced with "Oscar the Death Cat", his full title should be used anyway, you wouldn't want to offend the Death Cat. |
