What exactly was that MBNA commercial with the rugby team and the old singer about?

Default Super Bowl Advertising Poll
I liked the cat/spagetti sauce one. That was the crowd pleaser at my party.

If I'm on a commercial channel I just switch over to the BBC when they come on.

And I'm sure that people like you spend a lot of time making sure that even if you ignore the commercials they are still having an impact.

Also - no wonder the US has an obesity problem if people need to get up for snacks and sodas that often during a game!!! Maybe it's the advertising... must get a bud... must get a coke... must get different washing powder... huh?

Basically a game with nothing at stake, a training game or an exhibition game if you want.

I think your equivalent would be the pre-season games?

But I already watch soccer .

And small fridges are nice, but I can't justify the expense being a struggling student and then (Hmmm, thinks Imran, that doesn't stop you from buying beer and games... shaddup!)

Must say that I can't recall ever debating the commercials being aired during a World-cup footie game.
Am I the only euro-com who finds this tradition rather... odd?

You can't really have funny advertising in soccer anyway. Maybe at the half, but aside from that, there are no natural stops and starts to have them.
