Oh damned, I was so hoping this would slip under the radar.

btw, the previous(current) prime minister didn't know what the holiday is about and neither did several other politicians.

broke into La Marseillaise instead of Belgium's La Brabanconne on the national day.

There's some speculation he did that on purpose, though I'm not buying it.

It's actually even worse as later he was filmed making a phone-call during a rendition of our national anthem.

I suggested that when the coalition invaded Iraq, The Netherlands and France should invade Belgium, since no-one would be watching, and divide Belguim.

Nobody would notice, nobody would care, and most probably the Belgium people would be even happier.

Let's just end the joke named "Belgium". It's just a thick border between Holland and France.

You do realise that even if Belgium were to disappear, the caravan trip to Spain would still be as long, right? We would improve the roads
