Default I'm Sick of Change
some banks have change machines. get a bucket, dump your change in, get a reciept. takes about 2 minutes.

...give that receipt to the teller. get about $50. buy alcohol. get smashed. log on to 'Poly and brag. problem solved.

The accumulation of change is due to laziness...It iseasier to just pay with bills only. If you will try to pay the exact amount of change when possible, you will rarely get more that a dollar of change in your pocket.

I don't like that at all. Worried that George Bush is tracking your buying habits?

Bullshit. Raise the prices so you use this card, and they monitor you that way. I use a friend of mine's grocery card.
That way, I get the discounts; he gets the special offers.

Last I checked, i had $250 in change.

When I bother to remember, I'll sell it to my boss for bills.

Last time I had this much, someone broke into my house and stole it all. Good Riddance.

BTW: The govt no longer puts copper in pennies. Copper is too expensive. Pennies have zinc instead. Pennies have 2.5% copper (for the color), thank you very much

Let's just deflate the dollar instead... pull a Mexico and say that the NEW dollar is worth 10 of the OLD dollars. That'll fix it right up

Fewer millionaires, though. I say good riddance...

I like how Sloww is railing against all the Big Brother ****, sounds like a proper whiney Liberal... Nah, that is a libertarian type conservative thing. Liberals just coopted it recently to add yet another group under their umbrella, making even less coherent.

Once Bush is gone, they will drop such things.

I use debit/credit almost exclusively.

Not only is it very convenient, but I can import my statements automagically into Quicken...combined with pre-built categorical rules and such, it's an interactive, realtime budget.

Plus I get tons of free groceries...
