(I searched for the original thread on this guy, but honestly this forums search function is WORSE than not having a search function. I searched advanced style using 'Earl Jones, 92, Farmer, Kentucky, killed, Maxwell, 22, home - It literally told me that none of my terms matched anything.)


Listen to this guy! When asked why he didnt call 911 he responded "Im a Military man, aint no damn reason i need to call the Cops. I aint watin for hours while i get shot and killed." His last comment in the interview is "This aint America anymore!".

Jones told the Associated Press, “I aimed right for his heart…I didn’t go to war for nothing. I have the right to carry a gun. That’s what I told the police.”


Jones, a military veteran who served from 1941 to 1946, says that although he faced a life-or-death situation, he had no fear: “Was I scared? Was I mad? Hell, no…It was simple. That man was going to take my life. He was hunting me. I was protecting myself.”


When the Cincinnati.com reporter conducting the interview asked Jones why he didn’t dial 9-1-1, Jones asked, “Why?! I’m a military man…I’m not going to dial somebody and have to wait for somebody…If I hadn’t shot him, he’d have been in here attacking me.”

To search the whole forum, you need to be at the top level of the web site. So click on the Forum menu then use the search box and it will search everything. If you are in a subforum such as GD then it will only search what is in the GD sub forum.

Ha. Having posted all that like a smart a$#e I went to do another search and couldn't find a thread I was confident is somewhere here. I was looking for "an Evening with" someone who I can't remember the name of. Scottish UK parliamentarian guy.

You were right about searching from the main forum page though, so thanks! I guess the 'advanced' function is useless? I thought the whole point to advanced was that i could tell it to search the entire forum? LOL
