Whether or not this is through fear of being smeared as an 'antisemite' or the misapprehension that it actually is, I can not tell.

All I know is the lack of a story on this strange fact is ... strange... and reminds me of a Voltair quote... "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize."
I think it's the same phenomena wherein one can't point out the painfully obvious truth that necons got us into Iraq based on 'sexed up' evidence, largely if not primarily out of concern for Israel, and that most of the neocons were right-wing Jews.
