People are against hunting seals because they are cute - they look like retarded dogs with flippers.
There's nothing wrong with hunting, as long as the animal is killed for food and/or most of the body is used. And that includes seal hunting. There are two main instances where I'm against hunting. One is when the species being hunted is endangered. The other is when the animal is hunted solely for a specific body part, like tusks, gall bladders, or fins. Seal hunting fits neither of those criteria. If you're against hunting in general, then that's a valid opinion. But if you're only against the hunting of 'cute' animal like seals, then you're a hypocrite. |
