Default Real estate agent gives guns to homebuyers
What is she, prejudiced against people who aren't LEOs?

There were definitely more posts in this thread the last time I looked

Sloww, I was in Fort Worth on work yesterday (flew in at noon, had a 1 hour meeting, flew out at 5), and I got a kick out of reading a sign at Le Madeleine's that said "No Concealed Weapons" or something.

I don't think Glock makes a .50. I do see a .45 G.A.P., which I hadn't seen before. (Not that I keep up with weapon & ammo trends.) I think that's interesting, a .45 bullet in a smaller frame, because I don't have large hands.

Danny Vermin: I got something to stop him.
Dutch: They made it for him special. It's an 88 magnum.
Danny Vermin: It shoots through schools.

What does it say about the neighborhood that the realators are giving away hand guns? Maybe you should rethink this.

I think it will be the safest neighborhood in town, afer 1 incident.

S&W makes the .50 caliber.
My own thoughts on home protection lean towards to a shotgun. Doesn't go through a wall, down the street, through another wall and hit an innocent.

I'm not the most pro-gun person in the galaxy, but if you must...then a shotgun is best. Not only for all the things that Sloww says, but also because (a) you may not have to use it because a shotgun will scare the bejesus out of anybody and (b) the adenalin will be pumping, your hands will be shaking and this way you're bound to hit 'em if you pull the trigger.

(Try not to blast any of your kiddies who have snuck downstairs to raid the fridge.)

It would ruin my day to get shot with a 9mm.

In Texas, no license is required to own a rifle, shotgun or handgun, but a permit is needed to carry a concealed weapon, according to the National Rifle Association.

Does that mean it's OK to walk down the street toting a shotgun?

Dallas and Houston are always hiring Constables On Patrol. Come on down.

You'll have to leave that damn Wisconsin beanie there, though.
