Default Does the world really need a police?
If you have no patience, well, the resolution to that is pretty self-evident, wouldn't you think?

Not true. You haven't been an avid reader and follower. I'm disappointed. I bet you don't even have any of my fan products..

That hardly was the point. The US does title itself as the world police and it does have the most power, thus what I proposed is acceptable in terms of this debate.

So you say that if the artificial title is lifted, as in US no longer claims to be the world police (as I said, doesn't have to show a difference in ACTION), China becomes somehow de facto police of East Asia?

How is US taking the responsibility of policing the world, when it is naturally connected with self interest rather than world interest, mostly in the lines of our interest is the world interest?

Regional hegemonies are already pretty much alive as well as regional police.

More like Moe from the Three Stooges. We will just continue kicking the nuts of the countries that displease us.

Bad **** happens in the world. If someone has the power to stop it, they should. Until the UN stops being impotent and fixes its deep flaws, I am grateful for the U.S.

There isn't such a thing as a Global Policeman only a global bully. But I prefer a global bully that say's he's using my lunch money for spreading democracy to the one that blatantly admits he's using it for candy.

Better America than China.
