He was more responsible for VietNam than Kennedy imo, plus he got the government handouts going. The first turned the people against the government which never ended and seperated the government from being 'of the people'. Pre and post VietNam, almost two different countries. The second got the people believing that the government would look after them, that the government owed them a living.

Out of curiosity:

(1) Who is the "Our" in "Our Civilization?"

(2) Who are the "analysts" in "our analysts?"

(3) Why do our analysts thing our Golden Age is ending?

WWII generated our golden age (and ended a lingering depression), the world recovered and now we're back to competing with more people

That sounds Civ4ish. Here in the OT we're stuck in Civ3 until we all go out and buy new machines.

Was it Johnson that practicly bankrupted American cities and brought on urban/suburban segregation with forced bussing?

For example, forced bussing was a concept created by the courts, staring with Judge Gittleson in Los Angeles.

Leaving the Vietnam war was the worst thing ever done. Many many many people were murdered in South Vietnam after the USA stopped to protect them.

It's the '60s that ended the golden age of the western world because it introduced demogagy and the voice of the people = the voice of the fools.
Not to mention that it turned our civilization into decadence.

How did what he did make suburban kids in NJ take busses into Newark to be easy meat for the gangbangers in the name of equality? Seems to be out of his jurisdiction... He made the ruling for L.A. schools.
Other judges across the nation followed his lead.

BTW: He was voted out in the next election.
