Default fox hunting
Eh. Fox hunting is fine as long as the fox populations stay stable. It should be used as a way to reduce growing numbers to off set starvation.

Foxes are resilient little buggers and fast breeders. Anyway my understanding of the traditional fox hunt was that it was not so much about actually bagging a fox as it was a chance to get out with your friends and socialize. I mean a fox is not stupid you're not catching it with loud dogs and horses unless you just run it to ground. Then again fox hunting is a uniquely British brand of hunting. Here in the States it's about camouflage and stealth and masking your scent. Traditional fox hunts have you dressing in bright red, riding a horse, with a pack of dogs in front of you.

I think an excessive preoccupation with animal rights is unhealthy. Don't get me wrong I'm not for being deliberately cruel to animals for no reason at all but, the definition of cruelty is very broad these days.

I would say that the animal rights movement has gone a bit to far +cough+pet+cough+

Humans are on a different level from animals, thus certain things like, hunting, zoos, pets ect, is not "crule" though the peta nuts would have you think it was.
