Actually, I took the pictures down after Isabeau posted (as the time stamp suggests) since after my own last post I was still kind of holding on that someone might add something more relevant. Upon realizing that it was pointless, I took them down. And being a huge skeptic myself, I can understand the objective perspective one might take in regards to such a subject. Even so, I don't appreciate the inappropriate reproach on your part Korey.

Since apparently there seems to be some misunderstanding of what I asked initially, I will clarify. I did not post to validate the authenticity of the image, neither did I include it with my original post and only posted them when asked of me. I know the image was not altered in any way besides me cropping it to post it up here. All I came here to discover was if anyone had heard or experienced something such as this before. Personally, I don't see why I had to post a picture to begin with, although I did consider the curiosity of others might warrant a look and thought perhaps the image to be an important factor in determining an answer to my question.

I suppose I could have posted at another forum where my reputation is solid and people aren't as caught up in the practice of thwarting potential evil deceivers and more interested in assisting the original poster with their questions, but I thought I would make an account and give this place a shot. I've only been actively perusing this forum for a few days but I certainly hope your character does not speak for the whole of OF as it wouldn't say much for the integrity of the site... Just noticing your post count however, which has left me pleasantly surprised. Not to mention the sincere assistance of others in the subject, I don't believe that to be the case.

Yesterday, my girlfriend was taking pictures of herself for a photography class assignment, when she noticed in one of the pictures the characteristics of her eyes became significantly altered. Both of her eyes which are really dark brown changed to a very light blue, grayish color and the pupil lost its round shape and took on the shape of a cats eye (that kind of thin, inverted shape). It was only in this one photo that this alteration had occurred and she tried to replicate the distortion to no end.

Obviously we thought it was due to some kind of refraction of the light or something that had occurred at the time that that one shot was taken but we did some research and haven't come up with anything remotely close to the huge deviation from her normal eye characteristics. Her eyes in this picture look absolutely nothing like how they normally look.

At first glance, it looked to me like she had some contacts in or she manipulated the photograph but I was there when she took the picture and she wouldn't be pulling my leg this long lol.

We're still leaning more towards the cause of it being the camera or the light but thought we should try all avenues of inquiry to get different perspectives on the matter. So OF, what are your thoughts?

my first impresion would be photo shoped, but you say no so i'll take your word on that. it looks lie the angle an perhaps the lighting, or maybe her alter ego is cat woman

Yeah, that was my exact thought when I saw it. I asked her that several times and she denied it, she's not one for silly tricks such as that. It just looks a little too focused or perhaps just down right peculiar. Fortunately, you can rest assured that the image is real as I wouldn't waste my time uploading pictures, making a thread and checking back every now and then for an answer, heh.

I was hoping for some more ideas relating to stories or different aspects of the occult that this topic might have some ground on but I suppose if you guys don't have any sound interpretations in regards to a potential magickal influence, we'll just concur that it was a flaw in either the lighting or perhaps the camera settings.

Well, I'm no PS professional, but do you have a large image you could e-mail me? I'm quite the skeptic on things like this, and would like to go over it in my own PS and look for the signs of digital tampering.
