Who else thinks that 'Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal' takes place sometime after GX and not after 5D's? It seems like a 10-15 years after the events of GX, or maybe it's just a completely alternate timeline? Your thoughts? Thanks

I think its hard to line up and say for sure with GX. I do think agree though in saying it predates 5Ds.

That's kind of funny, since the trailers for the show clearly state that Zexal is in the future as Neo Domino or Satellite in the background of either the opening or the ending of the show.

In my opinion zeXal looks kinda stupid. and im pretty sure its after the events of 5Ds.

The technology the characters are using alone should answer this question:

Just take one look at the virutal dueling tech they are using in zexal, I have a hard time beleiving that it took place before 5d's. Infact take a look at the kinds of tech just all around town in zexal, vs what you see in 5d's how would you it's pretty obvious to me that we are looking at far more advanced tech in zexal in general.

Unless there is some kind of anomally with all the tech in zexal that cause people to revert to a lower tech situation (like 5d's had), or something related to a temperal paradox of some sort that basicly caused all that tech to be uninvented there's virtually (pun intentded) no way that zexal took place before 5d's.

That being said I don't care if it was the past or the future, zexal (while entertaining) has made me wish they'd revive 5d's (I'm sure after they took out the leader(s) of illiaster there had to be some fall out from that orginization that the signers had to deal with)
