Default Gaming Computer Help
Buying this Athlon custom computer off of Ibuypower.com

Will someone who knows about computers rate this? I mainly play World of Warcraft (Level 75 Unholy DPS Human DK on Moon Guard)

This is the NEW set up for the computer. I spent a good 20 mins of site crosschecking and review reading for research on every part. This thing is practicly my child. I made myself go for the quad core, since I do not think dual core is gonna cut it.

I know this thing is gonna be able to run WoW on max detail, but, even though I do not play it, I need to know...

Can it run Crysis 2 on MAX detail, with minimal lag?

I payed 592 dollars, including shipping for it. Is this worth it, will it fit my needs, and will it make my Guild cry from jealousy?

I'm not too good with computers, but I would think for 400 you can get atleast a TB of HD, I'm droppin 600 for my comp (its a kit so i gotta put it together) it's pretty nice i5 processor and nice video card w/ a super special fan, I assume you need the keyboard + mouse?

Cool constructive comment there, Jurrac.

Overall for the price it doesn't look that bad; although don't expect to be able to run Crysis 2 on it. World of Warcraft doesn't require much, if that's all you're getting this for. If I have time I'll look into this in more detail, but for the most part more information is needed on what you're looking for.

I'd rate it a C. In the end though, whether or not it suits your needs is what's important.

Are you buying a stock computer or actually making it yourself?

Anyhow, like Chris said, WoW doesn't need much like other MMOs. I'm not too knowledgeable about ATI cards, but I think WoW would only need a 7 series Nvidia Geforce card to run at max.

Crysis is a completely different beast however. You need absolute power for it to run at max detail with no lag. Forget about Crysis 2, just for the first Crysis at 1620x1280 you will need a good PSU, a good CPU, and a good card. You could run it at min settings I think but expect lag here and there.

Im customizing a stock computer on ibuypower.com

Anyway, I don't go for what is necessary. I go for what will do the job, without maxing out its potential.
