Default Built-In Webcam Help
So I have a built-in webcam for my laptop and as of 2 weeks ago it decided not to be found when I run programs that use a camera. My father is in Australia and I am trying to Skype him to stay in touch and this is not helping. Also I have Lifeframe on my laptop and when I start it up it prompts that no webcam is found. Is my driver bad? What should I do.
Thanks in advance.

Step 1) Go to the website of your computer's manufacturing (ie Dell.com) there, find the driver's download page and download the driver (This is usually the updated version.) If it works then it was your driver.

Step 2) Buy an external Webcam or use a digital camera, they really don't cost that much if you are willing to sacrifice some quality.

Good luck!
