Default Your Dreams? Share!
This isn't a thread about dream interpretation, although you could discuss that if you feel inclined to do so.

This thread is for anyone and everyone to post dreams - reoccuring or not - in as much detail as possible.

I enjoy the strange unexplainable things that happen in my dreams. It's so surreal, even if everything seems normal and just one oddity permeates the occasion - it's cool.

one example that I said in the shoutbox a few minutes ago is the reoccuring event in which a row (4-5) of teeth comes out as one piece from my mouth. I always try to put it back, but of course it never reattaches. This event always happens in different places/situations, but has showed up multiple times in my dreams.

One interesting thing that populates my dreams is the revisiting of locations - detailed down to the nook and cranny - of which I have never seen/visited in real life. Is this strange?

Also, often times I dream in episodes - meaning I revisit a theme, setting, and semi-plot again in separate dreams, but the events progress in a new way. These are probably my favorites, because it's like watching the next episode of a TV show in ways. I ponder these when I wake up, noting similarities from previous dreams and whatnot.

lastly, has anyone had luck with lucid dreams? I can never get that to work.

That teeth dream you have reminds me of some that I have. There is one dream where my teeth fall off (they fall off individually though) and I try to put them back. Another dream I have is of my top row of teeth get caught behind the bottom row. Meaning the top part of my jaw is stuck behind the bottom part and I panic as I try to re-open my mouth to fix the problem.

In terms of lucid dreams, I have those every now and then. Generally they'll be about seeing someone I miss and I figure out it's a dream because I know it's not possible to be seeing them. Most of the time the dream continues, but I wake up extra depressed :/.

Other lucid dreams are about sex .

Last dream I had, I turned into a cat and I was "The One" of the cat kingdom. And I went to fight some giant toad.
But I haven't had a dream in years. Its all just black.

I have not dreamt in months, but mine are usually sequential and I die consistently.

In one of my canonical dreams, I am standing on what appears to be a large Rubik's cube that is constantly turning (slowly, but surely). When I fall off, the dream ends. In others, I am finding things I may have lost or desire.

This is totally awesome. XD

I've had too many weird dreams when I was young. Don't seem to dream all that often nowadays. o.o;

A rather vivid one comes to mind right now. I was at school and no other person was there. There was, however, Godzilla standing in the central quad. I then noticed that I had a shotgun and, for whatever reason, thought I should fire it at Godzilla. It ended up squirting out water.

I felt no pain as Godzilla turned around and chewed me up. In fact, I was amused that the gun squirted water out even while being chewed up. o.O;

A few other that spring to mind are discovering a secret button hidden in my house's toilet, being eaten by a shark in a pool, hanging off a huge coat hanger under the sun, being used as a battering ram to break down a gate and buying a cup of coffee. XD

Sometimes when I dream it actually comes true. On one occasion, I dreamed that I was going down a river in a raft with a bunch of complete strangers. I had totally forgotten about it until a few years later I went on a boy scout trip doing some white water rafting. I went with all the senior members and it was my first trip with them.

On other occasions I get deja vu and realize that I had dreamed a certain event happening and I actually have control over it. It freaks me out sometimes.

Perhaps the weirdest of the bunch, haha.

I've had some weird sort of deja-vu dreams before. I'll explain what I mean:

About 2 or 3 years ago, I had a dream where I would be having a drink in an Irish bar. I'd be looking at some double doors which lead to the food hall of the place, by some darkly varnished benches. I'll get into a fight or someone will tell me something that will freak me out; basically something that scares me. I saw that location in real life just over 2 weeks ago and it felt really weird. Every detail was exactly how I had seen it in my dream. It was on a golf resort in Spain. And to make it more strange, the place may not have even been built until a few years ago. So I may have seen it before or while it was being constructed. =/

I can't remember my recurring dreams at the moment but I usually remember most of my dreams anyway. I'll post again when I've had another dream

cool stuff, guys. keep posting

on a side note, I got put under with laughing gas this morning. all I remember was losing control of my actions and letting out a laugh or two for no reason. my voice also appeared to sound deeper. last thing i remember was the dentist telling me to put my arm straight down, and then next thing I know i'm in my bed at home with cotton gauze pads in my mouth...
no dreams tho... :\

but to recount an very old dream that I remember as best as i can:
I once was on a boat (not with T-Pain) in this dream, and it seemed lively, like a cruise ship, but not nearly that huge. I kept walking around with a sense of urgency, but I wasn't sure why. I finally opened the door to a bathroom and there was a raptor inside. ! Nothing gruesome/violent happened, but it was understood to the viewer of the dream (me) that I had been eaten. Then the whole thing restarted and looped 2 or 3 times before I woke up.

Whenever I watched loads of cartoons. I'd have a dream or something about a certain cartoon with the specific episode I imaged. Later that day I would see the cartoon and episode exactly how I imagined.

That and I have dreams about drinking.

Crazy. Do you have the "flying dream," or the jumping so high you might as well be flying" dream?

I forgot to mention. I also have the dreams where I can read signs and books. Those are actually other examples of lucid dreams because I think to myself, "isn't it impossible to read in dreams?" Then I "read" the sign and keep moving along. I don't know if I actually ever read the signs, but I feel like I did.

I didn't post this before, cos I thought they weren't too relevant. o.O

Of the most recent dreams I've been having, all of them are very short and end up happening IRL. It's like they're prophetic or something, which is kinda weird. I'd sometimes go about my everyday routine, then pause all of a sudden, wondering if I've done this before. Other times, I get myself into a situation leading up to the exact scene in the dream and, realising that, intentionally do something different to what I did in the dream so as to avoid that scene...

The worst one was when I saw my friend collapsing a dream. We walking home the next day when she did what my dream told me and collapsed in the middle of the road. Luckily, the driver who was turning had fast reflexes and stopped his car. I literally dragged her to the walkway and had the doctors check her up. She ended up being fine, but that's prolly why I'm so uncomfortable with these kinda dreams now... x.x;

The flying dream you were talking about, is that a lucid dream? I've been wanting to have a lucid dream for ages but I don't think I've ever had one

No the falling dream is wierd, i'll be in any number of random situations. Once i was in an 70/80's style american cop show (starsky and hutch/miami vice) going through that. At the end of it i fell down some stairs and woke up as if i'd just fallen onto my bed.
