I'm looking at options for English lessons, level right now is understands very basic English, can grasp some passing conversation (kind of, but I think much is guess work), but has little to no confidence.
I am looking at getting the student to a level where taking part in a general conversation (speaking about the weather, family, work, hobbies etc) is not a massive undertaking. Reading/Writing is not so important. Perfection is not required here, specifically this is to sit the English test for UK visa.

Everyone picks up languages differently, but I'm looking to have the student ready by July at most, before would be a bonus.

Anyone offering classes, or know of a group or wanting to make a little extra cash, has experience in teaching and living in the Capital?

Or has any advice?
