If you move a thread and leave a re-direct, I don't see a need to PM the poster, wait for them to contact you.

Robert, with all due respect, sometimes we don't even know who the Mod is. The only time I contacted a Mod directly was when my first post talking about demographics and urbanism was moved and he was not the one who moved it. The forum is fun, interaction is great. It is a win win situation for all if common and reciprocal courtesy is applied.

Here's the link to that thread that vanished. I sent it to a bunch friends sitting around the bar at our restaurant. 30 minutes later, no one could get the link to work. it worked great for a little while, and then, poof, it literally vanished into thin air.

I started this thread early morning and it just disappeared. I strongly agree with the OP there needs to be some kind of courteous notification IMHO

But the thread was about a dominican getting turned down by a dominican girl in the dominican republic during a dominican baseball game. How was that not DR related??? I'm obviously missing out on something. Maybe if it wasn't captivating or never had an audience that's sum else n totally acceptable

Frank, the off topic forum is only visible to members with 500 posts or more. I see you joined in Sept so that could be the reason you didn't know.
