Hi,
Does anyone know if you can request to take the Pruebas Nacionales earlier?
And are they difficult?

Never heard of anyone getting an exception to take the Pruebas Nacionales earlier. I know if you miss the first calling, another is held latter.

These standardized tests are given to 8th and 12th graders. They are difficult, but from what I understand almost everyone passes them. Students get at least a week of preparation at their schools to pass the tests. And there have been reports in recent years of the teachers sent in to supervise the tests assisting the students with the answers. Basically, the tests determine if students know the basics that they should know.
