What a lot of people need is the hope of getting up to Sosua for that little wedding bash.

Sosúa is digging and cutting its way out, people are getting their lives back in order.

There is, however, fairly widespread flooding and damage in the east where a lot of poeple were on flood plains and lots a lot of their stuff-if not all.

A funny (sort of) photo in today's El Caribe (www.elcaribe.com.do) shows a billard table on its side, and those are heavy, really heavy items.

As to how long the $500 would last at an open bar? Depending on the thirst of the DR1ers, it could last a few hours, as long as Criscolon, AZB,Cleef, BadPiece or a thirsty HB don't show up!

Other than a few piles of branches and a couple of areas that still don't have electricity, all is well in Sosua and outlying areas.

Right, I will mail Rocky, We get married on Monday the 25th, So will the Saturday the 23rd or the Sunday the 24th be better, or doesn't it matter. We know Escott is going to the USA around that time. We also have friends flying in from Canada on the Saturday, don't know what time they arrive. But we would like as many DR1's to come. so obviously if the Saturday night is the best time, then we will have to leave a message for our Canadian Friends as to where we are and leave it to there discretion as to wether they turn up or not. Hopefully everybody should be near to normal in Four weeks, we can just celebrate life and raise a glass or two.

We are hoping to have a bit of a Bash to Celebrate our forth coming wedding in October. Say if we picked a venue like rocky's, and had an open invite to DR1's how long would say $500 dollars last at the bar. Providing people didn't kick the *** out of it.
