Default Catholic Churches - Cabarete or Sosua
I've been trying to find out if Cabarete or Sosua have Catholic churches one can attend. I haven't had any luck finding any info yet. FireGuy from "Debbies" board referred me to this board. Hopefully someone can help me with locations, times??? Thanks. Much appreciated.

There are also a chapel and a church in Cabarete where Mass is celebrated.

The Cabarete parishes are staffed from the parish in Sosúa.

That parish is San Antonio de Padua and the telephone number is 571-3390.

shouldn't escape us all.

Thanks Scott.

There is a Synagogue in El Batey for what it is worth.

Not only that but there is a Jewish Museum in El Batey that I found facinating and answered a lot of questions I had about the founding of Sosua by European Jews (this was a Trujillo/Roosevelt affair and a fact if you didn't know) before WWII that I couldnt get answered on the internet.

Had a very interesting tour that was arranged by Chester4 and along with Chiri, Mr. Chiri, Chiriito and myself was really appreciated and worthwhile. I would recommend this to any visitor.
