This guy is not well know in provo, but on friday people are willing to spend money if something is happening. This island is more a reggae, rap and hiphop style concerts. The local banks usually play music along the calypso and reggae line, but the younger guys want to do hiphop tunes.
Foreign bands are supported primarily because people are wanting to do something on friday, as nothing much happen in the island. The ticket is market at $60buck, with just about any tom dick and others. Of the spanish songs I like, Intentolo tu would be one of the songs that caught my attention and recently I've heard Nada De Nada By Frank Something (don't remember his last name). I think both of those songs come under the batacha category. I realy dig that sort of music, as it have a nice beat and easy on the ears |

60 USD to see Joe Veras. Hell NOOOOO!!!
Come to NYC and you see him for $20 with two other bands. Maybe in Providenciales it's a big thing but I woulnd't pay that much money to see Joe Veras. Now if it would be Cristian Castro is a different story. This guy be performing at the William auditorium in Providenciales on the 23rd, July. |
