Cris and I have decided were not going to deprive ourselves of another trip to DR! Last year we went to Cuba, and it was good, but it wasn't DR. We both fell in love with the place our first time there, and we want to come back again this December. We're thinking of going to the south coast this year. We stayed at Rui Bachata west of Puerto Plata on the north coast, now we're thinking the south coast? I love to scuba. Is the diving better, worse, same as on the north coast?
On the other hand, Hillbilly, we would love to see you again! And you live on the north coast, correct?
We're thinking of doing an AI again because it's so cheap with everything included. Any suggestions?
How long does it take to travel by road from Puerto Plata to Santo Domingo? Is it possible to do the Gri Gri Lagoon Rio San Juan dive if we stay on the south coast??
Any suggestions on where to stay, what to see, what to do, would be greatly appreciated.
