There was a cruise ship that left Puerto Plata twice per week for cruises with stops in Jamaica and Cuba.

The company has gone bankrupt, leaving people with booked cruises or holding vouchers for cancelled cruises (the ship had many technical problems and had to cancel some trips) out to hang in the dry.

I also heard that many people invested in this venture and lost it all.
