Default Prediction came true-Laura Guity-7 years
Just about 7 hours after I predicted it, Laura was found guilty at 1:05am last night. She got 7 years and a toke $50,000 fine. Pretty Boy Marcos Irrizarry, her husband got 15 years and a soft $250,000 fine, considering the judge dictated he was the mastermind. The bad Dominican boy Tony Rodriguez Morales, just as I said he would be tainted by his reputation and demeanor, got the worst-15 years, $500,000 fine and all his assets confiscated. The Puerto Ricans cannot lose their assets in PR. Pinky, the fag hairstylist got 15 years. Arod Levi and Edwin Cotto got 7 years/$50,000 and 10 years respectively.

The ones who got it too hard for me were the other PR girls Karla Morales and Heidee Romero, who were just pussy-fodder fot Tony. I predicted they would get 1-3 years and at worst 5 years. Well, they got the 5!!! Too much.

Now, the difficult situation is this. Hippo or whoever is president next year may have to make a deal with the PR Governor for at least a pardon for Laura. Laura will not survive the ordeal, so they will work out a medical pardon. It may include the other girls too.

The reason I say this is because this is now revenge time. Puerto Ricans are not going to just accept this. Expect the worst possible time for Dominicans in PR for the next 6 months. Judges there will be giving us harsh sentences even for minor offenses. Dominicans will be harrassed by police and authorities and financial aid will be hard to get. Expect more beatings and abuse by Puerto Ricans. That is unless Hippo sees the reality of the situation and frees Laura. She will be a martyr now.

both the prosecution and the judge made the utmost effort to make sure it followed the law to the last semicolon.

Thanks for info. I don't understand the Napoleonic system they have down there. And it seemed strange that the sentence would come in the wee hours of the morning-- don't they rest? I guess I'm used to the English common law system.

I'm sure that Puerto Ricans will be watching to see if the judicial system works so well when it comes to the 70 generalisimos maximos that received regalitos from Baninter

Not sure about the judicial system in the DR but the trial did seem like a kangaroo trial. Question to those who know- was the trial fair?

IANAL, god forbid, but I have heard from many people who are that the trial was under such scrutiny that both the prosecution and the judge made the utmost effort to make sure it followed the law to the last semicolon.

Just what I've heard. To me it sounds that they are guilty as charged.
