There have been topics posted in the General Stuff section that were unrelated to the DR but were truly of general interest. They haven't been closed or deleted. Threads that are started regarding the war, politics or religion other than in the DR, and any other subjects unrelated to the DR that are controversial are soon stopped.

Humor, whether DR related or not, can be posted in The Comic Bin.

To be safe, why not send a PM or email to the moderator of that section and give them enough info on which to make a decision. Find one of the posts of the moderator and click on the PM or email button underneath, then proceed from there just as though you were sending a message from you email program.

Ok...I need clarification on the generally accepted rules in this forum.

Does each new topic HAVE to contain DR content?

If so, will a post be deleted if it doesn't?

If not, where can I post something that might be interesting but not DR related?
