Damn! It's true, he does wear a Rolex. y e como yo dije: un Rolex President.

Mejia: "Eto no e corral de chivo, no, mi reló no e ningún Oitel Pelpetual, e un Role Presidente."

Well, with those arms flailing, he could be talking about the size of his prostate.

Not that I am defending the presidumb, or anything of the sort. God forbid. But I'd like to know what does the picture in the small window have to do with the picture below? It could have been taken from anywhere.

Pib, you don't show much of a sense of irony. No matter, I won't let you break the mood of this thread. It is not about truth in journalism. </b>

My 2nd caption choice:</b>

<h3>"A mi no me gusta ningun vaina flin-flin!"

I don't know if we should even talk about the possibility of gold content in that roof. If word got around, people would kill themselves trying to extract it.

I heard some of it. I was disappointed to hear him bring up "external forces" so often when he talked about problems, but that's politics.

I think it's very unwise for any Dominican politician to openly break with the Cardinal and his Bishops, especially when they discourage chaos.

Is it possible for anyone to get a picture of the Golden Mormon Temple at Bolivar Avenue and perhaps find out any details about the tax exemption given for that white elephant which contrasts so bad with the economy and poor people of this country, specially with the maternity hospital across?

Can anyone confirm wether or not the roof statue was made of pure gold?

IF you heard his speach today you might have noticed that he was mostly in accord with the 12 part letter from the Dominican Council of Bishops, released yesterday and read today en every church in the country. Good reading even if i am not particularly "church-oriented" .....

Good photo. I wonder if you can catch the Minister of Industry and Commerce with her Piaget, obtained 4 months after President Guzman took office......cool $15,000?? I don;t know...

They all stink....
