Don't get me wrong, I love the U.S.A. And without the many brave servicemen's sacrifices there might not be a France today. I'm just a little concerned about our current presidents actions. Lets pray he isn't too proud to admit he is making a mistake and needs to call off the troops.

CC, just a hunch.

But I think with U.S. modi operandi always being the same, and our approach always being the same - and the enemy and world in general all being very different this time around - I just have a hunch the U.S. might be stuffing it's nose into a bee's nest this time.

SH seems to be rolling out the red carpet for war (figuratively) and he's no fool (in a relative sense).

I hope I'm wrong, I really do. But I have a very uneasy feeling about what might transpire. Be sure, I'm against war in general and even more so after 9/11.

Regardless of my political beliefs, I think Bush is going to end up with egg on his face and a lot of blood on his hands.

Junior is looking at the wrong target. Where in the world is Osama? may I ask. That's the guy!
Iraq is just a family affair for Junior.

The economy is going down (look at the markets). Anybody retiring soon?

Unemployment is going up.

We are going back to Iraq.

This sounds like a re-run!

Is this guy thinking about re-election?

Is the economy stupid!

And anybody else that's quietly reading these posts (g., v.t., k., etc...) but wish to condemn us Democrats, this one's for you:

I truly believe that repugs are unable to engage in a political dialogue without resorting to ad hominen attacks and libelous charges. Therefore I lower my rhetoric down to your level of intelligence and use some of YOUR OWN ammunition. And since you people can't see shades of gray, CMS gave you black & white facts concerning Clinton's eight years of prosperity and peace, but you still can't see it. And that, amiguitos, shows your partisanship tendencies.

It's idiots like you that like to criticize, but you didn't take the time to listen to the speech? Typical whiney liberal. Why don't you just move to France... better yet go to Iraq and take Barabara Streisand, the Baldwin brothers, Sean Penn, etc. with you. And take a real big catcher's mitt with you so you can catch the first 500 pounder.

Bob, fed up with you freaky pu$$y, lazy traitors

This belongs in the Clown Bin.
By the way, did you see the nincompoop on TV last night? Well, I didn't. Little g.w. Bush is THE president. This has to be a joke. The most powerful nation in the world is being led by a STUPID MORON.

Very educated response Tony C....
The Democrats are responsible for all that went wrong with the country and the Republicans are responsible for all that went well.
And we are supposed to take you seriously?
A balanced budget is a bad thing? Trillions in debt is good? Even Alan Greenspan is warning GW to avoid debt. Wake up man and read the papers!

Guess my idea of "fun" is a bit different than yours, Cris.

Seeing dead people definately doesn't do it for me.

No wonder you like the Resident.

for having problems saying nuclear. But seriously folks, where in the world is all that money he's proposing to spend... and war with Iraq on top of all that. Hay!

On another note. I wonder if he's planning to vacation in the DR any time soon.

Gotta plug the DR in there just in case.

The US has not been out of debt in decades. During the Clinton years the gap was reduced and I will applaud him for that even though he cannot take all the credit.
There are many instances in which the republicans have done things that ****ed me off.
Bush I should have gone all the way to Bagdad when he had a chance.
I am against "Faith Based" charities recieving Federal funds.
The list goes on and on but The list of the Demos is 10 times longer.

Once again I point to the DR and most of Latin America as an example of how Liberal "Socialism" can ruin an economy.

Any prosperity during the 90's was due to 3 factors

1 Policies instigated by George Bush
2. A G.O.P. House
3. Clinton backing Take credit for Republican Policy!

BTW the Economic downturn we are have experienced(I say "have" because it is over!) commenced during the last year of the Clinton Administration. It was exaserbated by 9-11 in which Mr. CLinton must share the blame!

Ok a question to all you Liberal/Treehugging/Hippie types. Name me one instance where the economy has improved due to the Gov. raising taxes? I can name you many times when it did when taxes were lowered!

BTW War has always been and always will be a legitimate tool of foreign policy!

That is a tired old arguement. The Republicans did not spnd a dime investigating Clinton's Sex Life. The Spent it on investigating the fact he committed PERJURY!!!!
When it comes to politics I vote for who is best for me. Just like everybody else. I do not agree with everything in the GOP platform but I do tend to agree with a lot of it. Much more than I can agree with Democrat policy.
Just look to the DR for examples of how Liberal Social Engineering can ruin an economy.
With their High taxes and restrictive labour laws how anybody would want to start a business down there at this time is beyond my comprehension.

Tony Blair has done an about-face. He was supposed to reminds us of Bill Clinton, but he's so afraid of Cheney and Co. that he has forgotten how he made it to the top. How Thatcherian of him to support Bush! W. C. should be turning over in his grave by now.

Chris you obviously need help. Thank you for making me feel good again about my party. God help us all if this wingnut represents the majority of the GOP.

I think he's playing us. I think he's baiting us, he wants the US/UN to come and get him. When they do, then he will unearth all the weapons that's got the former president's son's underwear all bunched up.

So, we organize 10's of thousands of troops and he shoots off his poison gas pills/bombs/bobbleheads and who knows what happens then?

I dunno, I just see this mad Texan with two full holsters and a pea brain and I know that is NOT someone I want to be leading me (or my many friends being called up) into his family's personal ****ing contest with SH.

I'm by no means claiming I'm right and you're wrong, but I do know that we can't continue to blow up countries and take what WE WANT, and think we can live in peace. Not then, not now and most definitely not in the future.
