Default Visiting a friend
Well, two actually.. They graciously invited me to pay them a visit to their lovely home in the Adelaide hills before I leave Australia next week:

Some cyms, dends and zygos outdoors:

Phalies under lights:

Inside the greenhouse:
Oncid hybrid:

Sarcochilus:

Masdie:

And a splendid specimen of rossioglossum grande:

My hosts, Edda and Russell (Edda is the president of the Orchid Club of South Australia for the current term):

And some scenery on the way back (taken from inside a moving bus):
Vineyards abound in the Adelaide hills region:

Typical 'dry scrub' in South Australia:

View of the city from the hills:

Hope you enjoyed it.

Thanks

Rick, nope. I was the photographer. lol.

Gina, I've not been in the dry scrub forest areas as access without a car is difficult. Public transport doesn't go all the way into these relatively remote areas... In some places, native Aussie terrestrials can be seen in bloom during their flowering season, so some of the club members have reported.
