Looking for a live performance toinight Nov 28 @ in casual dining location - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

Hi there, I'm looking for an entertaining preferably (easy to listen non-experimental) live performance in a nice casual: restoraunt/bistro/bar/cafe in Greater Vancouver area. I know that there must be something down Commercial Drive, but I was looking for something real nice to be enterained with my group of friends.

Rumba Calzado for example would of been a prefered choice if they played tonight.

I appreciate any suggestions.

I think check out The Libra Room on Commercial Drive, though it can be a bit crazy there on Saturdays. It's a fun bar, with a decent kitchen, and usually pretty good bands.
Chris Tarry is playing The Cellar. Probably jazz/ funk with top-notch musicians. Musically that would be a solid bet, but a more concert setting. Libra, on Saturdays, is definitely a bar vibe.
