 Lester Young's 100th Birthday.
We should all give thanks that Lester Young (aka The President or Prez) lived and made music. Without Prez, his tenor and his concepts, Jazz would not be the great music it is today. Happy 100th Mr.Young. Born August 27, 1909 in Woodville Mississippi.
