Default Hubert Laws and Tom Keenlyside.
An excellent interview between two masters of the flute. Great rapport and some very good views on the scene. 'Law's Cause' on Atlantic has always been one of my favourite albums by Hubert for 'Windows'(of course) but also 'Trio for Flute, Bassoon and Piano' by Corea. Hubert was no slouch on tenor either....check out Mongo Santamaria's "El Pussy Cat" on Columbia done in 1964. Great work Tom!

I didn't even know he was still alive or active. I guess I'm out of touch. But nice interview. I remember my dad taking me to see him when I was a kid. It was at the Queen E., I think. Anyone know what year that was? My guess is early or mid-1970s.
