I can easily envision many situations where someone would use cannabis and do something insane. If you are already very unstable, and you use cannabis, there is a good possibility that it is going to do make you a lot worse. It will pretty much amplify any emotion, thought, or perseveration of yours, and if you are not in a good healthy space, then it will not bring you good, healthy things.

I think it's more likely that whatever psychoactive drug that he was on was flushed out of his system quickly. If weed stays in your system 30-90 days, and cocaine stays in your system for 3 days . . . it's possible that bath salts (or whatever) lasts for a just few hours.

all the positive test for THC does is to indicate that it was consumed within about the last 30 days.
