What the hell are "strong, principled conservatives " compared to Ron Paul, this jerk speaks of? So Paul folks are considered unprincipled non-conservatives that need counterbalancing? What a shithead!
Rick Santorum: Ron Paul supporters seeking convention fight Posted by Felicia Sonmez at 10:39 AM ET, 06/10/2012 TheWashingtonPost Former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum on Sunday cited supporters of Rep. Ron Paul as one of the major reasons why he is aiming for a role at this summer’s Republican National Convention in Tampa. Former GOP presidential candidate and senator Rick Santorum. (REUTERS/Brian Snyder)“I like the platform that we have right now,” Santorum said in an interview on ABC’s “This Week.” “I’m concerned that Ron Paul and some of his supporters out there are looking for a platform fight, and I want to make sure that we have strong, principled conservatives out there . . .to counterbalance the effect of the Paul folks.” Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney (R) last month clinched the 1,144 delegates necessary to secure the GOP nomination. But supporters of Paul (Texas) have been rolling up delegates at the state caucus and convention level – in some cases, gaining control of entire county and state Republican Parties -- and are planning on a strong showing at the convention as well as at a separate “Paul Festival.” That sets the stage for a potential showdown at this summer’s Tampa convention. Santorum, who dropped his own presidential bid earlier this year, also said Sunday that he hasn’t been contacted by Romney’s campaign as part of the vice-presidential vetting process. “No one’s asked me for anything right now,” Santorum said, adding that he is focused on Patriot Voices, his new conservative group. “I’m not anxious to get back in the fray right now.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...POSV_blog.html |

Ol frothy thinks he's gonna get some big brownie points from flopney running interference against the RP folks, he probably had some or all of his campaign debt paid to do it.
You can bet the bank that they're scared as hell of the public relations mess that's in the works come the convention, the best thing is, it's all on primetime and they can stick unity up their ass. |

i'm confused. i've been listening to alex jones all weekend. isn't it pretty much established at this point that the pauls are endorsing romney? ron's going to retire + raise money for rand who wants to now include himself in the mainstream republican party. i mean, rand was even seen at bilderberg for lord's sake.

jones says he was spotted there, no official link. check this, it's great: Rand Paul "no comments" question about Bilderberg Submitted by end.the.fed on Sun, 06/10/2012 - 20:16in To be fair, he had already told the gentleman he was done answering questions after one about the Romney endorsement and another about the Iran sanctions, so he did answer some tough ones. http://www.infowars.com/rand-paul-confronted-on-bilderberg-n... This is how he used to feel about Bilderberg. You'd think he'd want to shed some light on it. http://www.infowars.com/flip-flopper-rand-paul-denounced-bil... |

I think the Republican party is going to try and muzzle Paul delegates somehow. |
