2. Trans-esterification - not so easy. related to making soap, glycerin, etc. I have a case of a chemical that lets soy oil be blended with diesel up to 60% without anything else done (although it might be washed with water to get the last of the lecithin out of it). For winter use gasoline is supposed to be blended with the oil to prevent it from becoming solid at low temps. |

Very nice truck. I run Michellin LTX M/S on my 2500 with a Cummins. I average 80 to 85k out of them. No problems with the Cummins but I did have to replace the lift pump at 205,000. Better the lift pump than the injector pump I always say. Also have a Duramax truck with an Allison behind it. The Duramax is smoother and quieter but I still like the Dodge because it feels more like a real truck. Damn GMC crew cab duelly rides more like a Cadillac than a truck. Wifey usually grabs the GMC.
