thx sarge. I wonder if those who follow the elite through numerology have anything to say about 4/23/12 ?
I watched "Conspiracy Theory" a couple years ago on DVD... as I was well immersed in "CTs" (truth seeking ![]() You see in that clip how they (via Mel Gibson) portrayed "CTists": speedy, paranoid, obsessive, socially inept, yada yada. In the midst of that, I recall Mel's character, a cab-driver/CTist, did rattle off a bunch of real conspiracies, I think he even mentioned chemtrails at one point to one of his cab fares, which is remarkable coz the movie was released in '97, screenplay & production took place over the 1-2 years prior; mid-90s AKA the very earliest years when people started observing chemtrails! Several of the action scenes were over the top too- the details escape me but I recall at one point "men in black" descending down ropes from a black helicopter onto the streets in the midst of Manhattan, in pursuit of Mel... don't quote me on that (who they were pursuing), I'd need to see it again, plot was complex. @ IMDB: see plot summary, viewer reviews etc: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118883/ Conspiracy Theory (1997) ![]() 6.6 A man obsessed with conspiracy theories becomes a target after one of his theories turns out to be true. Unfortunately, in order to save himself, he has to figure out which theory it is. Director: Richard Donner Writer: Brian Helgeland Stars: Mel Gibson, Julia Roberts and Patrick Stewart Storyline Jerry Fletcher is a man in love with a woman he observes from afar. She works for the government. Fletcher is an outspoken critic of that government. He has conspiracy theories for everything, from aliens to political assassinations. But soon, one of his theories finds itself to be accurate. But which one? Some dangerous people want him dead and the only person he trusts is that woman he loves but does not know. Written by Steve Richer Mel Gibson is a New York taxi driver, who has a strange habit. He makes complicated scenarios of conspiracies and publishes them in a newsletter sent out to five recipients. He keeps doing that, until something unbelievable happens: One of his "conspiracy theories" turns out to be real, and so he finds himself chased by the man hiding behind the whole thing.
