If you have nerve pain it is always a good idea to find out what caused it. Most nerve pains are biomechanical in origin, iow it is tensions in your musculoskeletal system that causes these. The underlying imbalances a chiropractor can correct, and determine whether it may have another origin apart from the musculoskeletal system, such as diabetic or alcoholic neuropathy, tumor, stroke, or a permanent nerve injury from any of the above...
A deficiency of anti-inflammatory medication doesn't really happen... I would like some specifics about what happens if you do the above... |

it's resulted from my hernia surgery. they think scar tissue on the nerves, or entrapment by scar tissue from the mesh. Trying to reduce the pain chemically is a losing battle though, it will kill you before the pain is killed. However if you are not certain the pain is from the surgery, go to a good chiropractor and have it examined, sometimes walking in a pain avoidance posture with an inguinal hernia can create other biomechanical problems in the spine/pelvis that cause the nerve pain. Where do you feel it? |

it's has to be from scar tissue. it radiates out from about 1 inch to left of where i had 1 repair done. was not there previous to the surgery, was there 1 day or so after. it's like electrical shocks that radiate out around my thigh, up to my neck, all over my groin, etc. it's like being hooked up to a car battery. the plan is to put me on nerve blockers so i can at least get through physical therapy, then try taking me off them. i can't do any of the therapy at this point, it's all electrical shocks and muscle spasms that result from them. apparently there's some cluster of nerves right up next to the top of the inguinal canal that i have covered in crap.

Capsaicin sucks, I rubbed his back with it once or twice without gloves on , and I washed my hands really really good 2 or 3 times, that crap will get into places you really don't want it, ( eyes? or other parts of your body? lol ) I finally had enough sense to keep rubber gloves here. I really hate the stuff.

I used to make very high octane hot sauce and when I 1st got started I thought those latex gloves would protect me, damn was I wrong! Yeah, I went to take to the bathroom and paid for it dearly. I thought my hands were hot sauce free and rubbed my eye and thought I would go blind, then I let a steam of boiling Habaneros hit me in the face..another blinding moment.
Dairy products counter act hot stuff, period. Water and beer etc will momentarily quash it but not remedy it. |

my mom, the nurse, always told me "don't put anything on a wound that you wouldn't put on your eye." pretty general but easy enough to remember.... |
