Comedian Bill Maher donates $1 million to Obama super PAC

By Phil Pruitt | The Ticket – 2 hrs 48 mins ago

Surprise donation Thursday from comedian Bill Maher made a Super PAC supporting President Obama $1 million richer. The promise of the big check came during a live performance of Maher's stand-up show, CrazyStupidPolitics. Maher tweeted later that the donation to Priorities USA Action had been a surprise to Yahoo!, which broadcast the show.
"I would like to announce tonight a donation to the Obama super PAC which has the very unfortunate tongue-twister name Priorities USA Action. I know, it was named by Borat," Maher joked.
"Tonight I would like to give that PAC $1 million dollars," he added more seriously, to cheers from the crowd.
The Obama campaign earlier this month announced its support of Priorities USA as a source of funding for the president's re-election campaign.
"Most important advice I ever got in show business, as true today as then: always bring your wallet onstage," Maher tweeted before the performance.

Talk about Mr. Controlled Opposition!!!! Ever since his fake firing on network tv Everything he has done... or done to him was to project the aire of edgy radical anti big govt. All I can say is what a tool!

I know i have a list of people who have contributed to the absolute destruction of this country, and its getting longer.

Ironically, Maher is pro cannabis, while Soetoro is pro War on Drugs. Literally diametrically opposed to each other.

Hegelian ?

Locking up people just like Mr. Maher EVERYDAY for cannabis use, and this tool gives more money to this system that seeks to enslave all.

People need to understand that no matter how bad this country gets, there are those who actually make their living from this Luciferian system. The Talmudist Maher is one of them. He will bash the 'Establishment' all day long, until something is really going to get done about it, then he cowers back into the corner of the NWO.

Bill trashed the establishment for years with his show 'Politically Incorrect', which was nothing more than controlled opposition, just like Celtic Rogue said. Now he funds this same system under one of the worst Presidents this country has EVER seen, and he seeks to make sure this system continues....

And yes, i do know what to do with my list once TSHTF.

And lastly, JEW. yes.

When I was in college Maher came to speak at my school and ended up at a toga party afterwards. I spent some time hanging out with him and he was a total, complete tool. He tried all night to creep on girls who obviously wanted NOTHING to do with him. He ended up sloppy, drooly drunk and alone. Quite a feat (the alone part) considering his celebrity status carries cache with most people. He made quite a (negative) impression on all of us.

^ Why does that not surprise me...

I am almost embarresed to say that many years ago I was a fan, now I can't watch him for more than 2 seconds without wanting to punch the tv.

At the time I knew nothing about him but I was instantly turned off by his personality. Smarmy, smug, condescending, dripping with arrogance. It wasn't just me, either...there were plenty of us that couldn't believe what a schmuck he was. And most of us (not necessarily me) wanted to like him, too.

Bill Maher has fallen into the same hole that Dennis Miller fell into. Both of them need lessons in humility.

Bill Maher could donate his brain to medical science, and carry on as usual. Can't miss something you never use...

Surprise?? donation really??

This is the same guy who practically worships Hitchens (before he went to hell) and thinks everything "evolved"

I was thinking about this thread and came to the conclusion that he didn't likely donate anything.

If you have Goldman and the banking establishment footing the bill for the whole thing, why throw your own money at it? Particularly a million.

What percentage is that of his net worth?

I think he was just saying that for headlines and to give the impression he actually believes in the cause.

Who would have thought that someone so ugly (as Maher) could be so stupid?
