Howdy, JohnWood. Do you have any questions about the forum, or are you pretty well caught up? Are you a GSUS newbie or were you a member on the old site?

Look forward to your contributions, glad to have a new member.

Prior to my recent official retirement, I served as a moderator for another investment forum for many years. Now I just want to be one of the guys sort of speak. I am very well acquainted with forum etiquette. But thank you very much for asking. I ask for a name change because I don't want undue attention on this forum. I was a late comer to GIM 1 prior to the breakup. Some of you may know me, but mostly don't. I am very much a "hard" asset person that is frequently at odds with other paper bugs. Looking forward to become a regular contributor to this forum.

Thanks Ximmy. I volunteer most of my spare time at a local correctional facility. Many inmates are toothless because of me. If you ever come to Vegas, you only need me as your body guard..LOL.

IMG, I'd love to have the last name WOOD. I could see it now. GoD - "Hey I'm Mark Wood, you wanna see it?", or "You know why they call me WOOD, right?", or "I've been told I've got a nice piece of WOOD", and on and on and on.

can you elaborate on that a bit?

my initial impression was that you volunteer to beat the teeth out of inmates, or am i taking that wrong?
