BTW, anyone who at this point thinks that holding silver and/or gold should be the core of their survival strategy (rather than being supplementary to same) is still caught up in the illusion. Holding gold and silver are secondary to actual survival needs such as procuring clean water, sanitation, staying warm and dry, medical/first aid supplies, clothing (esp. winter clothing) including shoes and boots, a means of providing 100% of one's family's own food, energy, self-defense*, etc. Anyone who is thinking that they can provide for the above needs with a hoard of gold or silver in the future is delusional - holding gold and silver should be considered ONLY after providing for the essentials first. Anyone who pushes "throw all your resources into buying gold or silver" is doing a disservice to others.

Kindly elaborate as to how putting all your resources into silver BEFORE securing your food supply, water sourcing, medical supplies, personal protection, energy, etc. is 'good advice'.

Buying a bit of silver or gold here and there as you prepare is one thing, however dumping ALL your resources into gold or silver is just plain stupid as there is NO way one can EVER be 'done' preparing.

Chris Duane aka Silver Shield says absolutely NOTHING about doing anything other than accumulating silver hand over fist, apparently in total disregard of doing anything else. Not a caveat, not a single word about doing anything toward the appropriate preps.

Additionally, one thing we can count on from the Death Cult is that any collapse of the dollar and/or Euro are merely part of a larger plan to enslave or eliminate all the inhabitants of the earth which are not a direct component of the Death Cult itself, so anyone who thinks for a moment that "things will eventually get back to *normal* and we'll eventually be past this 'bump in the road'" is extremely deluded. This is the ultimate spiritual battle we find ourselves in.

And FWIW, simply a conflict with China which puts a stop to all the cheap imports (since we no longer produce anything here), or for that matter any disruption of oil supplies where Joe Sixpack is unable to buy fuel for his automobile spells *the end* for 'modern civilization' as we know it. Not really his place to tell people to change their lives. He's offering advice on how to guard your wealth.

I'm sure the people living through the dark ages felt the same way. Throughout human history, the slaver's are defeated and a new system put in place. It's repeated throughout with the average person's life getting better each time. The controls are also stronger each time. You could be right about this being the end-all be-all battle but history does not support that...we'll just have to see what happens.

There are a great number of abandoned buildings in this country that could be setup to handle the BASIC needs for a great many thing provided by China. They got our worthless FRN's and we have the products, resource, and know how. Screw China.

There is a LOT of untapped proven reserves of oil in this country. Didn't Bummer release a bunch from the strategic reserve recently to help lower fuel costs?
As of Nov 2011 we have 695.9 Million barrels of oil in the strategic reserve.

You got it, he is talking about the extra money that you can get hold of...I spoke with him.

Now then, it will not be the END of human civilization but because of other things that will happen
it will be a "new" kind of civilization, and specially in the US.......for one thing countries will be more cautious as to how they will handle money, specially when dealing with banks.

THAT is a bum steer.
