well Ponce,
I have known you a bunch of years, I remember when you got banned at the old site, it was a dark day, a foreshadowing of events to come for all of us.. I still appreciate your contributions, your humor, and your point of view. so, hope you give us another 10 or 20 thousand more threads, and may your toilet paper never run out. warm regards, your friend, Sarge |

Hi all. Its been so busy here with getting ready for winter as well as catching up on new equipment like the two 3000 gallon water storage tanks and the 24 battery backup system. Still moving loads of things out into the barn; things I bought at garage sales and estate sales in the last few months.
I did manage to write an about 3 pager in response to Mneagle’s question regarding PM diversification. It is at the gold, silver and precious metals section. I’m so glad to see Ponce posting here again; he searches the worldwide web for articles that we may not otherwise see. I see us as a sort of family here, sharing our knowledge and experiences and caring for each other. I consider myself to be most fortunate since I talk to Ponce almost every day. We share news , opinions and jokes and sometimes are on the phone for over 2 hours. I know, it may sound crazy but this works for us. Ponce is a wealth of information as well as providing an alternate viewpoint on so many subjects. If I had never gotten to know Ponce I would not be as prepared or aware for the future. Face it; the future is a crapshoot. All we can doin prepping is to increase our odds of getting through what is to come. Hopefully with as little as possible disruption to our lives and those we know and love. Best wishes, especially to you Ponce, Agnut P.S. Times are changing. This afternoon my son and I went to pick up the fruits and vegetables and there was only 2 boxes (we normally get 10-16 boxes. And one of the two boxes was filled with persimmons ! So I’m even more of a sour puss about it. People are actually coming into the store and going behind the back storage doors and picking up boxes of fruits and veggies. So no wonder why we are seeing less on our pick up runs. Something to think about when folks lately are getting creative in their desperation to feed themselves. A sign of the process in action. There has been much talk about a fiat dollar collapse and what it would look like out there in the public mainstream. One of our goals should be to NOT have to be out there at that time. If black Friday is always a zoo, imagine what it would be like with a food “black Friday”. Americans have never experienced this and have nothing to relate to so it will be chaotic and dangerous. Not everywhere and not with equal intensity; you will have to size up your own area. We are planning to shut the gate for a while until things cool down. Could be a couple of weeks or a couple of months; maybe longer and that is where we may have to go out for some necessities. Will there be electric bills, phone bills, cable bills ? Depends. And maybe a case of Depends would be a good idea. Ponce, what do you think ? |

Yeap, you better stock on Depends.....me? doing good.
Hey people, you asked for Agnut and here he is telling how to make a clock.....heheheheheheh. Hey buddy? I told you what was going to happen to your "contract" of fruits and vegetables......and this is only the start. PS: I don't stock on Depends but do have about 500 Tampex, Kotex and other names that I cannot even phantom...the lucky lady that moves in with me will have it made in the shade. |
