Default Problems logging on?
Is it just me or have any of you had problems getting on the site yesterday or today? I have to try 4 or 5 times before I can get it to load. I get a message that the server isn't responding.

Yeah, I'm still having problems getting threads to load. It's either slooooow or I get the server error.

Must be on your end, having no problem here...

Now when I tried logging in on the "other" forum (Slipperforum) the other day (I wanted to look at a picture there) it seems that I can't do anything anymore, I keep getting this message:

drorchid, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I think Peter must have banned me (I do admit I have not posted there for over a year, oh well his loss and not mine...)

You're a naughty boy, Robert, that's why you were deleted there. But, I think we'll keep you:>

O.K. Eric, I will! Now it's functioning fine for me. I don't get it. Oh well, we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Sorry, Candace. Just got your message. Things seem fine on my end too, not sure what to offer. Except - have you updated to Safari 5.0.1? Just came out last week.

No, I've not updated. It looks like I need to try that. Thanks.

There were some issues with 5 when it came out with 10.6.4 a few weeks ago which are supposedly fixed as of 5.0.1.

I had the same problem as Robert some time ago -- I just gave up. Nothing over there that beats what's here, anyway!

I've had some problems with slippertalk pages loading, also, lately. It may be a Safari issue -- my update is waiting to be installed on my laptop, which I normally use for slippertalk. But I have 10.5.8 on it, not 10.6, as the laptop doesn't have an intel processor.

There was a regional interruption in internet service today in various areas. The log on problems are probably due to something beyond of our control.

We had two small earthquakes that registered like 2.5 here today. Maybe they shook loose a few screws;> http://www.fox40.com/news/headlines/...,3610829.story

Yea, noticed internet shopping was a little slow yesterday. Thought it was due to the traffic of back to school shoppers looking for bargains.
Earthquakes and solar flares,oh my!!
