Default Dont Drive Through The Water Crossing The Road
For those going through the massive spring rains, take this very seriously.

My neighbor just died today when his car got caught up in water he didn't think was that deep, and ended up upside down under a small driveway bridge in our little creek.

Oh that is terrible! I'm so sorry.

Good advice, however.

Sorry to hear about such avoidable deaths. Water is indeed incredibly powerful. I'm amazed more people don't die during the intense monsoon season here - always some do though.

Tragic Rick, my best wishes go out to everyone involved in this flooding. We've had about 15 inches in the last 48 hours in the area and flood warnings are everywhere today. Not that this is any comparison to the hardships this storm has caused but I had to bail about 4000 gallons of water from my field mesocosms to try to save a field experiment that I have too many hours invested in to count, and we got more last night and in the forecast so I've got to go back out and do it today. Be safe everyone.

Forrest

What a shame! I can't imagine 15"!
and we actually need some rain where I'm at, it's been dodging us - 1/4" in the last 48 hrs.
